Hi, I'm Amber! Becoming a hairstylist wasn’t originally part of my plan—I like to say this profession chose me! While I was in high school, one of the women in the office encouraged me to apply for the cosmetology program. Even though I doubted I would get in, I filled out the paperwork anyway. I was accepted, and it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with doing hair and making people feel special. My vibe behind the chair is welcoming, caring, and honest, and I want everyone who sits in my chair to feel comfortable and cared for.

I especially enjoy men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts, along with styling, shampoos, simple braids, and facial waxing. I believe every client is different, so my approach starts with a thorough consultation and really listening to what you want and what your hair needs. From there, I’ll create a cut or style customized to you. I’m proud of earning my cosmetology certification because it gives me the opportunity to do something I truly love while helping others feel good about themselves. I also love that the relationship between a stylist and client goes both ways—sometimes I get to teach you something, and sometimes I get to learn something from you!

Outside the salon, I love my plants and my dogs, spending time with my husband and children, and going to church. After taking some time away from hairstyling following the birth of my second child, I realized just how much I missed doing hair. I genuinely craved being behind the chair, and that was when I knew this was truly my passion.
